Old Hollywood Glam Bridal Hair & Makeup at Thistlewood Manor Grand Reveal

Hello gorgeous! flAir Style Lounge got the opportunity to participate in a stunning event at a brand new wedding venue, Thistlewood Manor and Gardens, on October 12. This grand reveal brought over 50 Austin wedding professionals together to show off their talents. Thanks to the invite from Hill Country Pinup to be a part of something so grand. The theme for our area was “Old Hollywood Glam” and was put together by the creative ideas of wedding planner Michelle Bromley, of Here to Help Planning. The beautiful gown, worn by the lovely Jessica Campbell, was generously loaned by the ever so exquisite Signature Bridal Salon. That beautiful headpiece worn by the “bride” was handmade by the very talented Jeannie Guerrero of Hellcat Hardwear. The “groom for a day,” Mr. James Diekman III, was impeccably styled by Korina Lopez of Hill Country Pinup.

flAir Style Lounge owners, Ally Richard & Erica Erickson, created a glamorous hair and makeup style that echoed the era of Marilyn Monroe and Greta Garbo, but would still be just as relevant and fresh on a bride today. The bride’s hair was curled and set, then brushed into a soft, sleek glamor wave. Airbrush makeup gave the bride a flawless face, and a black winged eyeliner and deep red lip brought that element of ‘glam.”
